Today we got to have dinner at my grandpa Nelson's (mom's dad) house just 10 minutes from us. My grandpa lives in Minnesota but a year or so ago he bought a home down here to stay warm during the excruciating winters out there. Man, I could never live there because of the winters. But it is absolutely gorgeous. I know this because my sister, mom and I took a girl's trip out there 2 years ago.
(see how pretty it is in the background!?)Anyways, it was so nice to be with family and spend the evening together.
My grandpa's brother and wife are staying with him too as they house hunt. Looks like we'll have some family down here!
I'm glad that Owen can get to know his great-grandpa and that we can spend some time with him too. :)
