2009 already??

I can't believe it is already the year 2009! Wow how time flies! Tyson and I have had a wonderful year. We have accomplished many things on our long list of goals, we went on many "little" vacations throughout the year, we both started our Master's programs, I survived my first year of teaching and started teaching dance, we have applied a second time for medical school, and most importantly our love has grown much stronger. We feel very blessed and we can't wait to begin a whole New Year!

On New Years Eve we spent the day with my sister and her boys who drove all the way up to San Diego to visit us. My brother Matt came with us too and we had so much fun together. My nephews have NEVER seen snow so we showed them a good time. It was fun spending so much time with my sister because she is my 2nd best friend (but only since Tyson is my first:)and we never get to see each other as much as we would like. We had dinner at my in-laws and we welcomed the new year with close friends, playing games and laughing so hard we thought we might pee our pants. It was the perfect way to begin a new year! Thanks to Mike and Catherine for the fun party!! (pictures are coming and will be added!)

We had so much fun having Emily, Matt and the boys here! I love and admire both my sister and my brother. Emily is such a great mom and I learn so much from her. Not to mention she is one of my best friends as well as one of the best people I have ever known. She has always been an example to me. I love you Emily! And congrats to Matt because he got accepted to West Minster!! Yay!
