Owen doesn't watch too many movies and really isn't into them a whole ton, but it seems that when he does like a movie, he has to watch it A LOT. So the movie he is currently into is Finding Nemo. He loves learning about the big ocean as we talk about it each time he watches it. He also loves to yell "hold Nemo!? hold Nemo!?" every time he sees Nemo swimming around, and if you've seen the movie, that's like the whole time. I have tried to explain to him that he just cannot hold a character in a movie, let alone a fish, and that if Nemo were to be out of the water he would get a REALLY big owie. But he just does not understand....poor thing. :) So one day Tyson (leave it to the good dad that he is) decided to take Owen to the pet store and buy his own golden fish. He was thrilled!! We asked him what he wanted to name him and not to my surprise he named him Nemo. Although Owen is still unable to hold Nemo, he at least gets to stare at him, tell him about his trucks and cars, and feed him daily. I am sure this will be the first of many pets in our house, especially if I leave that responsibility to Tyson.

So fun! I love that he is so infatuated with Nemo the goldfish. A fish is probably the only pet we would probably get during this med school journey, too much moving around.
