Oh the glory of a box. Every time we get something in the mail it's like Christmas at our house. Owen finds any way possible to make that box part of his truck route or into a new place to store who knows what. So when we got a new rocking chair for baby, this HUGE box was just the ticket to an otherwise normal afternoon.
After Owen explored the inside and brought all of his beloved trucks inside to have a look, we decided to start making it into a little play house out on our balcony. So far we've liked this project. But it definitely needs some work!
When I leave Graham on the floor in Owen's room (or anywhere else) Owen always finds way to include his brother in play time. Good thing G is so mellow and easy going!
Yes I have introduced play dough again. Now that eating is an undesired act, I feel much better about bringing it back. Owen loves to roll out his dough and make "cookies" like the heart ones we did for Valentine's day.
Baking does not happen as often as it used to with two little ones to take care of, but when it does Owen loves to be my little helper. Here we are making our favorite banana muffins after church. Yum!
{p.s. that is Tyson's old sailor vest...I love it!}
And at the end of the day, if I get to see these two cuddle or talk or love each other, it really makes my day. I love them, such sweet brothers!
