I had the best birthday this year. I really felt so loved and thought of all day long by family and friends.
The day began with thoughtful text messages and phone calls from close friends and family. They made my day!
Then we met one of my best friends, Kate, and her triplet boys at one of my favorite restaurants called Blue Lemon for some yummy breakfast. She is always so thoughtful and wanted to do something fun on my actual birthday. After we headed to her house to play.
Cute note from the hubby :)
After our fun morning we headed home and both the boys went down for their nap. Then Tyson came home early as a birthday surprise and we headed up to Park City for some fun.
We went on the Alpine Coaster and Slide, ate dinner at one of our favorite Mexican places, did a little bit of shopping at the outlets and really just enjoyed each other's company. I love this guy.
Pretty earrings from my sweet sister.

After shopping for a bit we headed back to Salt Lake and Tyson had one more trick up his sleeve. He was given the next day off and so we headed over to the Grand America for a little staycation. Since it was so last minute we didn't have anyone to watch the boys overnight so we took them with us! It sure was fun with them but we'll have to go back and enjoy the luxurious hotel with out them one day too. ;)
And to top it off, the next day I got to hold my sweet nephew Will for the very first time. Will was born at just 26 weeks and hasn't been able to be held by anyone but his parents until now at 36 weeks gestational. It was pure Heaven. I sure love that sweet little fighter.
I am so grateful to Tyson for always making me feel special and especially on my birthday. 28 feels pretty good and I have to say I am ready for a brighter year and even more ready to say good bye to this past year. Thank you to my wonderful family and friends for making my day so special!!
