Our little Graham is 4 weeks old! I know I sound like a broken record but seriously time flies by WAY too fast. My newborn is quickly growing out of his newborn phase and into a more chunky phase. I cry when I think about how fast he is growing. It's hard being a sensitive mom. :)
At 4 weeks Graham continues to be such an amazing blessing in our home. He continues to sleep almost all day and he is just now starting to switch his days and nights. But the switch isnt coming soon enough!
He eats every two and a half to three hours during the day and every two hours at night. He is still a slow eater and it usually takes him a good 45 minutes to nurse, thus allowing me to finish a 1000 page book. :) He has major tummy troubles some days and I am now off milk, which seems to be helping. He is a SNUGGLER which makes us (especially daddy) really happy. We take naps together often and I love it. We are in love with him and can't get enough of his cuteness.
As for me, I am definitely feeling the affects of no sleep. It comes with the territory. Since Graham has had his days and nights switched it has definitely made it harder to get any rest. But I am managing and thankfully have such a supportive husband that helps me make it through the day. I also have amazing friends who bring us dinner and offer to take Owen and just help me with the little things. I feel very blessed. I absolutely love having two children. I have CHILDREN. :) I love it. Each day I feel the transition gets better or at least feels more doable. We have our hard moments of course but we are managing. Each day Owen gets better too. He is really a wonderful big brother and helper to me. It melts my heart when he cuddles and loves on Graham. He too has his moments but we work through them. It is hardest when both boys need my attention and I feel as though I am having to choose which one to help and which one to let cry. I hate these times and am glad when they're over or non-existent. But I guess that's what being a mom is all about.

Oh my goodness! 11 pounds! Somebody's been making good use of their feeding time! :) Mmmm, I love those chubs, I just want to nibble his sweet cheeks. I am sorry you are off dairy, that is hard but I do hope it helps his tummy.
