Owen turned 2 on the 29th and we were able to celebrate his special day with Grandma Cindy and Uncle Greg. To make it even more special, it was Uncle Greg's birthday too so we were able to celebrate them both!
Owen got one of his gifts early, on the day of his birthday party....a new bike! He has been wanting one for sometime now and it was so great seeing the look of excitement when he first saw it.
He opened his gifts right when he woke up to start off his special day.
Donuts and hot chocolate for breakfast while watching a movie! What could be better!?
A midday break to do push ups just like Uncle Greg :)
That night we headed to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Baby Graham slept while we enjoyed a yummy dinner and of course some cheesecake.

To my sweet Owen:
Right now you are a little ball of energy who loves to play! You are such a big boy and you love to help mommy with anything. You have a kind, sweet heart and you continue to be so very sensitive. I love that you take care of me, always making sure I am happy or have a "mink" (blanket) when I lay next to your crib when you're having a hard time falling asleep. You are so sweet with your little brother, even though sometimes you might not be as soft as you'd like. You make sure he is happy with his doggy and "mink" and you give him soft kisses on his head when he cries. You LOVE anything trucks, trains, cars, tractors, airplanes, etc...anything BOY. I love that you will sit and play with your trucks for such a long time, while using your big imagination. I love that you love to read with me and learn new things with me. I love that you know all your ABC's and can count to 10. You are so smart! You always remember that we need to say a prayer before we eat and you are getting better and better each week at sitting so reverently at church. You love to sing songs and be silly. You love to dance and I love it when you dance with me. You bring SO much happiness to our family and it would not be complete without you. You make me happy sweet boy and I love you more than you know.
