Christmas Festivities

I love all of the Christmas activities that go on around the holidays: church parties, friend get-togethers, and family traditions. This year, of course, was extra special with the birth of Graham. It's been an eventful Christmas, but ultimately one of the most memorable.

Our family is pretty obsessed with hot chocolate. This year we discovered the mini cups that are perfect for little hands.

Gotta love our ward Christmas party. This was held before Graham came :)

We went to a local farmer's market with a bunch of friends to meet Santa. I have no pictures to document this outing...why? because Owen took one look at Santa (through a glass window I might add) and started bawling. I think it's safe to say that he's terrified of the jolly ole' man.

Over a weekend we headed to a local Train Park with some friends. Once again I need to grab some pictures since I've been slacking on picture taking lately. But we did get one of us on the train together. Owen loved this place! It has parks, grass to run around, a carousel, and a fun train that goes around the park. He was in Heaven.

We also headed downtown to Glendale Glitters with some friends. It's a little shopping area that has yummy restaurants and vendors come as well. The city puts up over a million lights around Christmastime. We ate at a mexican restaurant and then walked around enjoying each others company and the awesome music that led to a dance party. :) I need to grab some of the pictures taken from friends, but we did take a cute one of Owen all bundled up.

After Graham arrived, we continued our tradition of watching Christmas movies as a family. This time we got hot chocolates and snuggled together on our bed to watch A Muppets Christmas Carol.

 Of course there were cookies involved too. :)

We attempted to go down to see the lights at the Mesa Temple with some friends. We all went down and had dinner at Cafe Rio (surprise, surprise) and then on our way out the door it started to rain. :( Definitely way too cold for us and our newborn. We'll just have to try again another day.

The boys all bundled up!
{dont mind G's googly eye :) }

Can't wait to spend Christmas as a family of FOUR!!
