As many of you know, Tyson does not like to recognize his birthday. He doesn't like the attention (I completely don't relate) and he always says "I don't need anything" when I ask him what he wants.

So what does a loving wife who adores her husband do? I (well actually we) threw him a bday bash. My good friend Rachel and I decided to throw a Cafe Rio inspired birthday bash for our husbands. Wes' birthday is the day before Tysons and so it worked out perfectly. We had all of their friends there, ate homemade Cafe Rio salads and had their favorite cakes. And of course we sang Happy Birthday too. Oh and we played a super fun question game to get to know them better. It was funny and hopefully it might have embarrassed Tyson. :)

The hostesses. I just have to say how much I love this girl. I seriously could hang out with her all the time if our lives permitted. ;) p.s. She is almost 5 months preggo...she looks amazing!

Rach made the most amazing German chocolate cake and I made these mini cheesecakes.

 The girlie girls without our husbands. I just have to say thank you to our wonderful friends for coming to the party and celebrating with us. We love you all!

 Owen got all tied up with these balloons and walked around until he couldn't stand it anymore. haha

On Tyson's actual birthday (April 20th) we went on a date to the Cheesecake Factory (yum!) and then saw the movie Rio (super cute). I just love dates with my husband and it was so nice to be out together by ourselves celebrating his birthday. (Thank you Stukers!)
