Long and lean. :) Owen is one active 15 month old. He is always curious about things around him and is constantly exploring. He loves texture; he'll go from the grass to the concrete and back and forth for the longest time. Or he'll go up and down the curb like it's the funnest thing to do. He is a big boy now and he acts like one too. He doesn't let me feed him hardly anymore. He doesn't go backwards down the stairs anymore. Now he has to go forward and so he is definitely learning how to use the railing for support. He is cautious yet daring. He continues to be a mama's boy but once let loose outside he is quick to explore and communicate with anyone around. He played with the old lady's hair at story time in the library for quite sometime before he leaned in to give her a kiss. haha. We never had met her before!
Owen definitely tests his limits. I feel like a broken record sometimes with no one on the other side listening. I feel like I am always saying "Remember we don't stand on the couch please" or "It's yucky to play in the toilet. Let's not do that please" One day it will stick...right? Owen has so much fun outside that when it's time to go home or do something different it's VERY difficult for him to understand why we're leaving, even after I talk to him about it. But I don't blame him, I'd rather live outside too!
Owen has such a kind heart and is very sensitive. One day when I wasn't it the best mood, he caught me crying and stopped playing to look up at me until I noticed him. When I looked at him he immediately smiled and leaned in for a kiss. He melts my heart like this so much. He has so much empathy for such a young little boy. It reminds me that he didn't leave the Savior too long ago.
Although Owen is a mama's boy he still is OBSESSED with his daddy. He gets super excited when he comes home and is ready to play whether Tyson likes it or not. But who I am kidding? Tyson would rather play with Owen or tease him or chase him or tickle him any time than do practically anything else. They are my two children. :) Good thing Owen loves it!
It's crazy to think that in just a few short months Owen will be ready for nursery! He is growing up so fast and I love every minute I am with him.

First of all - cutest outfit ever. Macks had the same one and it was one of my favs! Second of all - I always thought that one day those repetitive phrases would stick....but Mason is almost 11 and I'm still a broken record?!?! ;)-
I love the 2nd picture best. I want to kiss him. :) And it is a moment where you get a glimpse of his future 5-10 year old self. Stop growing!
Sweet little owen! We miss you two. We're going to the park by my house tomorrow with a few friends if you and owen don't already have plans. We were going to meet and chat while the kids played. We're also planning on making it a picnic. Anyway, if you guys want to come, text me. We would LOVE to see both of you.

Can hardly believe he is almost 1 1/2!! Crazy! Time flies. I also can't believe that Thayne weighs 20lbs. and Owen is 21.5! Seriously...Thayne is like a lead weight. Owen's darling. Love you guys!
