Owen + the sand = love
Owen absolutely loved playing in the sand! It was like a huge playground for him. He especially loved pouring the sand all over him, leaving him with sand in every single little crevice of his little body...haha. Walking was pretty hard for him; I could only imagine being a new walker and then having to walk over small land mines. He did a great job though. Only every now and then would he stop and start to cry a little because he was getting frustrated. :)
We tried taking off his socks and shoes to see if he wanted to walk on the wet sand....I'm sure you can tell the reaction we got was not very happy! I don't blame him, it was cold!
I love this. He was super excited to be out on the beach.
Such a little man
It was nice that we could go out to the beach during Owen's naps because we were so close. But this time Owen wanted to sleep outside with daddy. They both were OUT.

Hooray for the beach! What a great idea and one I would love to do someday, renting a beach house is on my bucket list. Owen is adorable as always and I am so happy you were able to soak up so much family time while on break.
