Pumpkin Patch

I was dying to go to the pumpkin patch this year. I just knew that Owen would love it and I absolutely love celebrating Fall. It has finally started cooling down here (yay 80's!) and so we took advantage of the nice weather and headed to a nearby farm. We had a blast and it actually started down pouring while we were there! It just added to the fun. 

Owen LOVED the animal farm. He especially loved doing his awesome impression of a duck by saying "quack" in the most annoying but funniest way possible. :) He cracks me up. Here he is looking at the ducks.

Going on a train ride! This is when the rain started coming down...and hard! Owen was unsure in the beginning but once they got moving he loved it and didn't stop talking about it...oh wait he is STILL talking about it. :)

We ran to take cover in one of the "3 little pigs" houses. Owen wasn't too sure about it all.

After realizing we the rain wasn't letting up and getting soaked playing in it, we decided to take a break and head to dinner. The rain didn't even phase Owen. He loved it and it was so cute to watch him have so much fun.

Eating at Johnny Rockets was just the ticket. By the time we finished, the rain had stopped and the sun was out again. Hello Arizona :)

We explored some more and of course headed straight back to the animals. Funny story: Owen was looking in on the chickens and kept trying to touch them through the cage. I continued to warn him and then BAM! one nipped at him!! We couldn't believe it and neither could Owen. It was so funny and so sad at the same time! Owen started to cry but more because I think his feelings were hurt. :)

We enjoyed some duck racing, corn mazing and jumping in the bounce house. Unfortunately my camera died and I couldn't document the rest....especially the end of our trip when Owen got to choose a pumpkin. He thought that was the best thing ever!
