Quality time as a family is limited these days, so whenever we have a few minutes or hours we really try to use them well. This year is definitely harder than last and so Tyson is gone more studying, which leaves us missing him like crazy. This evening was well deserved and needed and all three of us had a blast.
We began the evening at Sweet Tomatoes for some yummy salads, breads, pastas, and ice cream.
Owen loves to make things for me in his play kitchen at home. So he thought it'd be fun to make me something "special" at the restaurant. =)

After dinner we headed to the park to enjoy 70 degree weather. Owen LOVES to climb, run, and jump, so the park is Heaven. It was fun for Tyson to see everything he can do by himself since he never gets to come with us.
And last, after having a nice tubby, Owen cuddled up next to Tyson to watch some of his favorite show: Cars. Too cute.
We all loved every minute of it.
