Summer

This summer has been so fun and relaxing. We have loved having daddy home and we have packed our days with fun activities, yet have set aside some time to just relax. Since being home from CA, these past two weeks have been full of things to do.

We went to the splash pad with some friends. Splash pads are pretty popular down here when it's over 100 degree weather and you need a change from the pool. Owen liked it but mainly played on the outskirts of the pad and enjoyed being "social" as he brought back to me other people's food, drinks, and toys. :)

Dear Owen, please stop growing up. Love, mama

We love these guys. Since it's been summer we have been able to already have a few nights of BBQ, pizza and games.

We have gone to the pool almost everyday and Owen LOVES it. We practice going under water, floating on our back and splashing. He is the cutest thing to watch when he gets into the water.

One day we went to the Children's Museum in downtown Phoenix. I LOVE this place. It has 3 stories of fun activities for kids. We went about 5 months ago and Owen had fun but this time, being older, he loved it even more.

Since things are heating up down here and it's in the eighties by 9am, our park days are almost over. We managed to go one last time at 8:30am with our friends Heather, Max and Kate.

Owen and Max play so well together. It's so fun to watch. Max and Kate are just a few months older than Owen.

 The 3 little munchkins. Thanks to Heather, Owen kind of smiled but Max didn't need any help. He was all smiles! Poor Kate wasn't feeling too well but still managed to be just as cute. :)

We have also enjoyed some fun nights with friends, BBQing, having tacos and just hanging out. Tyson built Owen a kitchen and when it's all done I'll definitely need to post pictures. Man, I wish it could be summer all the time!
