Wow! I cannot believe that our little Owen is already 2 months. Time flies! I can still remember him entering our world like it was yesterday. Oh how that moment was so precious and special. I can still remember feeling so much joy and happiness as we shared our first moments together. Being a mother is more than I have ever expected. I have never been more overwhelmed and tired in my entire life. Yet I have never felt so much happiness (besides when I married Tyson) than I do now with my baby. Our bond has strengthened so much and the amount of love I have for him has increased immensely already. I love every second with my little guy. I love nursing him and feeling so close to him. I love our "awake" time when we talk, laugh and smile. I love putting him to sleep and knowing that I can comfort him. Then we start the whole process again....and again. :) I love watching him grow and become "so big."Owen is smiling more and more. He continues to giggle in his sleep and we just can't get enough of it! When he's laying on daddy's tummy he loves to push himself up on his arms and look around. He is able to follow objects and sounds around the room. He definitely knows when I walk into the room because he immediately starts fussing until I hold him...little stinker. He loves to listen to Tyson sing really loud. At first he gets scared (I don't blame him) and then he just gives us the biggest grins, toothless and all. He kicks and kicks his little legs all the time as he gets used to his little body.
Owen is now waking up only twice at night. He goes to bed around 9 or 10 (and so do we) and then he'll go about 4 or 5 hours, wake up around 1 or 2 , and then go another 4 hours and wake up around 5 or 6, before finally waking up for the day around 7:30 or 8 (early riser!). He is becoming such a good little sleeper and I couldn't be happier. :) He loves to be swaddled as he sleeps with white noise in the background (ocean waves ofcourse!).

His first time in his new swing that the Young Women in my ward gave him. They also made him the cutest quilt!
Thursday we get to go to his 2 month check-up. I have to admit, I am kind of nervous for the whole shots thing. I am a sucker when it comes to things like that because I can't stand watching my baby cry, especially when he's in so much pain. Any suggestions or tips for this dreaded day?

Happy 2 months, little Owen! What a cutie! The shots stink, totally, but every time they get a little easier. Take lots of deep breaths- you'll all get through it! :)
So good to see you guys last week! We are in love with that little guy. Cole is STILL talking about "Owen...hold him...mommy turn!" And he'll hold his arms out in front like he's holding him, it's adorable. Good luck with shots tomorrow, it will be harder on you than on him :) Have you thought about baby Tylenol before to lessen the pain a little? We do it before every shot appt. with Cole and it seems to help him get over it fast. Just a thought!
OHHHHH MYYY. Im seriously obsessed with him. Who knew tyson could make a cute baby.. hah its a good thing you are so gorgeous. He is too adorable. I loved seeing him at grandmas the other day. He is sooo big. & I cant wait to see him again on sunday! whoooop!!
