As I am now 13 weeks along and officially in my second trimester, I have found myself reflecting upon the joys in which pregnancy has brought to me throughout these past couple of months. I really don't want this time to pass by too fast and not remember my feelings or thoughts throughout this special time. Here are some of the changes/things I have learned about myself....
1. I used to HATE cheese and now I like it.
2. At around 2 or 3 in the afternoon I suddenly feel ravenous like I have never eaten a piece of food in my life.
3. Throwing up and being nauseated stinks but I am glad that at least the first one has been over with for now 3 weeks. :)
4. Hearing the heartbeat of our beautiful baby has never made me feel so happy and blessed at the same time...in fact I totally cried!
5. Being pregnant has been very spiritual for me and I love knowing that our little one is safely waiting in Heaven.
6. Tyson seems to think he his pregnant at times using me as an excuse to leave early or for other random things. He has even said "Oh it's just my hormones today..." haha very funny.
7. Tyson is also convinced that we are having a girl...I on the other hand have not had any "feelings" thus far about it.
8. I have great family and friends who have already made me feel better about the little things that are changing with my body such as being tired, or gaining weight or why I feel certain ways at certain times. Their advice is so appreciated!
9. Sometimes I will just feel like crying and I don't know why! You would have never thought that Bride Wars was so sad but I practically balled throughout most of it! Poor, poor Tyson...
10. I have already found the cutest bedroom set for our little one and I can't wait to find out the sex so we can shop for accessories and clothes! I can't help but love this part of it too. :)
Well that was kind of long but I could go on and on. I wonder what this next trimester will bring and I can't wait to find out if we're having a boy or girl!!

Loved your post! I love you two and can't wait until the day that I'm there too:) Love you both!
I'm so glad that you are enjoying pregnancy and writing down your feelings! I loved it, too!
Good for you for writing about it! I didn't do that as much, and I wish I did. I can totally relate to every single thing you wrote. :) I'm so happy for you!
I am so happy for you guys! He/she is going to be adorable!
It was fun to spend time with you last week up in MT and hear all about your exciting pregnancy. With this baby's genes, I don't think it matters if its a Boy or a Girl because it's going to be gorgeous.
I'm so glad you are looking for the good in being pregnant, it can be easy to worry about the not-so-fun times. Just keep being as positive as you are! And it does only keep getting better and better. I cried at the heartbeat too, can you imagine what you'll feel when you see that perfect little face!
Here I am COMMENTING! =) Nice post on being pregnant. I don't remember getting to emotional during Bride Wars, but hey, I cried through the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean; it fact, I kept crying for the next 3 hours after we left the theater! Stupid raging female hormones...
Sorry, you don't know me but I just saw your cute blog and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading it. You sound like really fun people!
Congratulations you guys! I am completely behind on everyone's blog...thus the late comment...but I'm so happy for you! Having your first baby is an AWESOME experience and you two will be great parents. Enjoy the ride!
pregnancy is fun- I am glad you are writing down things you love about it- sometimes those things are easy to forget!
Hey Julie! I am glad to hear your pregnancy is going so well. I am so sorry about missing "So you think you can dance"--I had only slept 3 hours the night before and I c-r-a-s-h-e-d when I got home! We just moved to Midway this week--you and Tyson and the other couples need to come up and enjoy the pool with us! We'll be in touch!
I loved reading your post. It made me think of all the feelings I had during pregnancy. What a special time! I can't wait to hear what you're having!
