Feeding the Ducks

We have been enjoying the wonderful weather here. It has finally cooled off and so we have been outside taking advantage. A few weeks ago we went to a local park and pond to feed the ducks with some of our favorite friends. It was actually pretty hot that day but it sure didn't stop us from having some fun. It did however make our cheeks very rosy. 

 Owen was a little timid, as usual, with the ducks (probably because last year a chicken bit his finger....he has never been the same) ;) and Graham wanted so badly to get in on the action. Instead he just sat on the grass with me, making funny faces because it feels weird to him.

Owen started off slow feeding the ducks; ripping off small pieces of bread to help the loaf go a long way. But once his friends came and he had a bag of popcorn to feed with, he decided the ducks needed ALL of it at one time. So needless to say, the feeding came to an abrupt end. :)
